Summary of key terms and conditions – West Arnhem Hire

Drivers must be over 21 years of age and hold a full unrestricted driving licence. Only nominated drivers can drive the vehicle. Additional drivers can be added for a daily fee. All drivers have to provide a copy of their licences to Westarnhem Hire by email to bookings@westarnhemhire.com. 

Please contact us if you are experiencing any issue during your rental period. 

The vehicle must be returned in at the agreed time in a good condition with a full fuel tank, otherwise, refuelling, cleaning and repair fees may apply as per fee schedule. 

The Hire Vehicle must be collected and returned to the Rental Location on the dates and by the times specified in the Rental Schedule. Any Hire Vehicle collected or returned outside of these hours may incur a Late Return Fee at Our absolute discretion.

Extra fees are charged to drive the vehicle outside of Maningrida township. 

The vehicle can be driven for up to 100km per day of booking. Fees apply for extra mileage.

We reserve the right to change or cancel the bookings in case of extreme circumstances or mechanical issues with the vehicle. We reserve the right to charge a bond in line with our terms and conditions. 

Changes to bookings or cancellations can be made by the customer up to 24 hours before commencement of the rental period for a fee of $50. Changes to bookings or cancellations made less than 24 hours will not be refunded. 

The terms and conditions describe situations in which you are fully liable. If repairs are required, there is no cover for damage to the vehicle’s windscreen, wheels or tyres. You are liable and must pay for damages up to the sum of $2,500 (as quoted by the local mechanical workshop) or for the costs of the excess of our insurance ($2,500) if the damage caused is covered by our insurance.
